CheckMyPHC.org is a digital platform designed to empower citizens, journalists, and policymakers with critical information about the state of Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities across Nigeria. We believe that access to this data is essential for driving accountability, promoting transparency, and ultimately improving the quality of healthcare services for all Nigerians.

The data available on this tool is the result of our first round of data collection. In late 2023, we collected data from 345 PHCs across 6 states: Anambra, Benue, Cross River, Osun, Sokoto, and Taraba. During this process, we gathered information about key indicators such as infrastructure, staffing, and the availability of essential medical resources. We plan to expand our data collection efforts to additional states in 2024, to provide a more comprehensive view of Nigeria's primary healthcare landscape.
